I recently got an email from Rob informing me that when you download the Beach House Theme from the WordPress Theme Viewer that the version number on the file that you download is incorrect.
The latest version of the Beach House Theme is 1.22 but the file name has 1.21 in it.
I have downloaded the file myself and have verified that it is the latest and greatest version.

I have gotten a couple of comments from people saying that the header is not showing up for them. This seems to happen only once in a while and I have not been able to recreate the issue myself to try and resolve it.
But, there is one person who wrote me and told me that deleting the functions.php file from the theme fixed their header issue.
Can someone who has this issue try this and tell me if it fixes it?

UPDATE: I have changed this so that the code is text boxes now. The reason for this was that the code was getting messed up in the post and was causing issues for people.
Open your single.php page and change the line that says this:
to
Then at the bottom of the page add this:
right before the this:
That will give you sidebar on your individual post pages.

I have updated this site and made sure that the Beach House theme is Wordpress 2.1 friendly.
I am happy to say that I did not need to make one change to it to get it to work with WordPress 2.1.

Wow, I had not checked this site or the amount of downloads that have happened on the WordPress Theme Viewer site in quite some time.
As of today the Beach House WordPress theme has had 5583 Downloads. That is absolutely amazing!
A big thanks goes out to everyone for using the theme and I welcome any suggestions that you may have on how to improve it.

I know it has been a while and I feel a little foolish for that since this update took me a whole 5 minutes to do.
The Beach House WordPress theme now has the following changes:
As mentioned these were simple changes but I hope that they make life a little easier.
P.S. This has also been tested with the Alpha WordPress 2.1 release and has passed with flying colors.

In a check today the Beach House WordPress Theme has now passed the 2000 download mark. At writing it is at 2093.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has download it and is using it. I plan to add widget support in the near future one my plate clears a little.
Also, if you like the Beach House theme and know PhotoShop check out my Sunflower WordPress Theme which is based off of the Beach House theme. The thing about the Sunflower theme is that I have made the PhotoShop files available so that you can customize it for you blog.
Earlier this week the Beach House WordPress theme passed the 1000 download mark on the WordPress theme viewer. This is great!
It is really exciting to see that people really like the theme. This encourages me to spend some time to make some updates to it such as the ability to change the header and to add sidebar widgets.

This is the initial public official release of the Beach House WordPress theme.
This theme was originally designed for a blog that I setup for my uncle for his condo that he had for rent. Well the condo went away and so did the web site so I decided to share the theme.
The las test version can be download on the Download Page.
