UPDATE: I have changed this so that the code is text boxes now. The reason for this was that the code was getting messed up in the post and was causing issues for people.

I have gotten a copy of comments and emails on how to add the sidebar to the individual post pages.Here are the steps that you go through:

Open your single.php page and change the line that says this:

<div id=”content” class=”widecolumn”>

to

<div id=”content” class=”narrowcolumn”>

Then at the bottom of the page add this:

<?php get_sidebar(); ?>

right before the this:

<?php get_footer(); ?>

That will give you sidebar on your individual post pages.
